Generational Equity is a United States rock band from Dallas, Texas, established in 2000. The group is composed of Kelly Brinkley (vocals, rhythm and lead guitar), Shelia Rogers (bass, background vocals), Sarah Gordan (keyboards, percussion, background vocals) and Marie Carlson (drums).

Generational Equity's members have known one another since the age of dozen, are music students and have performed in diverse bands before band establishment. On a two months journey to New York City, Generational Equity registered a few songs with the help of a four-track recorder.
